~There are no rules or regulations to your submissions. The board will review all entries and pick a winner along with a name.

~The winner will be revealed on Opening Day at the Club and will be carved at the top of a totem pole that day to be a permanent figure at the club. The winner will also receive a small prize to be announced along with a picture next to the pole to be put into the paper.

~There are 2 ways to submit your entries:

How??????  With our “~100 years & counting 50+50~” Membership Drive.  For every new family that you get to join, you will receive $50 & they will receive $50 off their 2012 membership dues.  This campaign asks every member to become a Salem Country Club public relations person.  Help us promote the club and get new members and we will pay you for your effort.

Go to our website at www.salemcountryclub.net and print out an application. Have the new member fill out the application and reference “100 years & counting 50+50” by writing it and your name on the top of the application. Once the applicant pays their dues in full, you, the current member will receive $50 & they will receive $50 off of their 2011-2012 membership dues for each family you bring in (up to the value of your current membership dues excluding tax). If your dues have already been paid in full, we will mail you a refund check. Sorry there will be no credit for future years.  All rebates must be paid in 2011-2012 season.

Please help us promote the club and give the gift of summer all year long.

Each member is encouraged to attend at least part of the meeting as this is the meeting where the board will take its direction for the upcoming year. Each member family is entitled to one vote and all votes will be taken by secret ballot so please feel free to be open and honest on how you feel the club should proceed for the future. Should you have any questions, topics you would like to be added to the agenda, or anything of concern, please contact Jeff Stockman, Nick Rohm, Gary Davis, and/or Jen Christopher who are officers on the board. Please consider joining us for this meeting as there will be some very important topics brought up which will have an impact on all our members.

Midnight Swim/ Catfish Tournament

       7/30~ 8pm-midnight

We will have "family meal deal" specials created only for this night at the snack shack.....followed by a CAMP OUT behind the tennis courts. So mark your calendar COME DOWN EAT DINNER....DANCE to the DJ Spinning the Tunes…SWIM...FISH...and CAMP OUT! What a great way to end July @ the Club!!
