The catfish tournament will start at 9pm and go until 12 midnight (you may enter anytime during the event, you do not need to sign in, you will be signed in when you register your catch)


- Please stop at the welcome center when you arrive 

- All ages are welcome, and members may bring guests to fish or camp or both


The catfish tournament will start at 9pm and go until 11pm
There will be prizes and is a great time had by all
Mike will record the fish caught, and pass out the prizes at the end of the tournament. 

Also, we will have a camp out on Saturday 6/10/2017

- This is the first chance family's will have this year to camp under the stars at the club.
- Tents may be set up at 8:00 Saturday night and be taken down by 11am on Sunday
- Tents may be set up behind the tennis courts 
- There will be a bonfire set up and lit at dusk

Remember there is to be no alcohol, pets, all club rules apply and you may bring guests to enjoy the evening with you. ( guest fees do apply)

Jet For JETTE 5k Walk/Run

We will be again holding our annual 5k Run/Walk for charity at the Salem Country Club on May 21st 2017 from 12-4pm. This year it will benefit the Jette Beck and Family, from Salem OH. Jette has been diagnosed with glioblastoma, level 4. It is the most aggressive cancer that begins within the brain. There is no cure. Jette is currently recovering from her surgery and a counter attack on the cancer cannot occur until she has recovered. A simple Google search on glioblastoma will clearly show you: God must intervene. We believe he will. See the full story here:

Polar Bear Plunge

Registration at 4:00pm

This year, the Salem Country Club will be raising money for the Salem Food Bank, we will be holding our first ever Polar Bear Plunge. 
Participants will be jumping into the fishing lake to make a huge splash for area hunger. This event will be open to all those who are 12 years of age and older, members and non-members. All participates Must be able to swim and anyone under the age of 18 must have their parent's/ legal Guardian's permission in order to participate (signed waiver required day of the event for ALL participants regardless of age). This event will consist of jumping into the lake. The first 30 participants will receive a t-shirt and all participants will have their name entered to win a $25.00 gift card. All participants MUST be signed in, waivers turned in along with the 10 dollars donation by 4:00 on the day of the fundraiser. Those choosing to participate must meet at the clubhouse to sign in and everyone will walk to the lake together. Halloween Dance and Haunted Trail

Family Fall Festival

The Salem Country Club will be holding it's annual Fall Festival On Sunday, October 2nd, 2016 from 3pm-6pm
-DJ Will be spinning tunes
-Pumpkin Carving contest 3pm-4pm 
-Bobbing for apples
-Dinner at 5pm
Each Family is asked to bring a large dish according to their last name: A-P Brings Main Dish/Side Dish, Q-Z brings Dessert. You will also need your own plates and silverware. The Club will provide Cider, Hot Chocolate, Cold Drinks, Hot Dogs, Hot Dog Buns & Condiments. Lots of events including a hay ride, bobbing for apples and a live DJ. Bring out the whole family and have some fun.

Kids Outdoor Days

From 1pm to 5pm on Sunday September 25th.
We will have BB gun target shoots, archery target shoots, and Fishing Derby.
ODNR may be there for questions and answers as well as demo's for the kids. 
Hot Dogs will be available for the kids from 1:00p.m - 2:00p.m.  T-shirts and bags will be set up for sale.  

Kids may bring their own Air Soft Guns but must check them in at the registration station as they arrive for safety, also they will need to bring Safety Glasses if they have them.  We will have a few Air Soft Guns and Safety Glasses available to use.

This is a FUN for both boys and girls!
