  • Building Rentals
This year we are not renting the buildings from November 15th until March 15th these three months are historically the coldest of the year. We did try to rent the buildings over the past few years during this time, but it has proven not to be as comfortable to the membership renting them as we would like it to be. The heat in the buildings will take the chill out of the air to make it comfortable, but not during extreme temperatures. The buildings during these months also do not have water or restroom facilities, which can make it uncomfortable for members to rent. We wanted to make everyone aware and hope you understand. Remember we do start to accept reservations for the next year, at midnight on January 1st 2016.

  • Annual Meeting

November 9th at 6:30pm in the Club

Please note that the annual meeting open to all club members will be held Monday November 9th 2015 in the clubhouse starting promptly at 6:30 pm.  This is the time where we will review our past year’s performance and discuss the upcoming year budget and plans for the club. This year we will be discussing and voting on

*Raising dues for full paying membership by 5% - With the increase of events and upgrades to the club as well as making the club a year round attraction for families it will increase a full paying families dues by $22.00 for the year plus tax. This increase will be frozen for three years. We have not had an increase in dues for 11 years and feel it is necessary to continue to provide the events each month and offset the continued increase in cost of maintaining a year round club.

reviewing budgets, electing new board members, and holding a Q and A session.

If you are interested in running for one of the (4) available positions, you may submit your name for consideration prior to the day of the meeting. You may also be added to the ballot the night of the meeting, but must be a full paying member for one year in good standing. You can e-mail your request To president@salemcountryclub.net to be added to the ballot. Board votes are at the end of the meeting and you will be running for an open position on the board not a comm. The comm. positions are talked about after the meeting and assigned then.

Each member is encouraged to attend at least part of the meeting as this is the meeting where the board will take its direction for the upcoming year.   Each member family is entitled to one vote and all votes will be taken by secret ballot so please feel free to be open and honest on how you feel the club should proceed for the future.

Should you have any questions, topics you would like to be added to the agenda, or anything of concern, please contact Jeff Stockman or Shelly Thomas who are officers on the board.

Please consider joining us for this meeting as there will be some very important topics brought up which will have an impact on all our members.
